Strong tremors felt in Delhi-NCR, North India as 6.2 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter Scale hit Nepal at 2:51 pm today, according National Centre for Seismology. Tremors were felt across Delhi-NCR and parts of North India. The seismic event, which lasted for more than 40 seconds, prompted people to quickly exit their homes in response to the intense shaking.
