The IndiGo Airlines on Saturday issued a travel advisory hours after the US-Israel attack on Iran, urging passengers to be cautious and stay informed about regional developments.

The airline said that it was closely monitoring the situation concerning Iran and its airspace, emphasising that the safety and security of its customers and crew remain the highest priority.

"IndiGo teams are prepared to implement any necessary operational adjustments as the situation evolves," the airline wrote in a post on X.

The Indian Embassy in Israel has issued a travel advisory for Indian nationals following escalating tensions in the region as Israel and the US launch joint strikes on Iran.

The advisory urges all Indian citizens in Israel to exercise utmost caution and remain vigilant at all times. Indian nationals are advised to strictly follow safety guidelines issued by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command.

Israel struck areas near Khamenei's offices in Tehran, says report

Israel launched "preventive" strikes against Iran on Saturday, targeting multiple sites in Tehran, including areas near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to media reports, reported the IANS.

The Israeli Defence Ministry said the operation, named "Shield of Judah," was carried out "to remove threats to Israel."

Air raid sirens were sounded across Israel amid fears of retaliatory missile attacks from Iran. Authorities urged citizens to remain alert as the military prepared for the possibility of incoming strikes, the news reports suggested.
