A powerful magnitude 7.7 earthquake strikes Indonesia`s Flores region, causing buildings to collapse, triggering panic and prompting a tsunami warning that was later lifted. The shallow offshore quake is followed by multiple aftershocks, with tsunami waves of less than one metre recorded in some areas.
