The Mumbai Cricket Association's (MCA) president Ajinkya Naik wants Mumbai players to perform well in the inaugural edition of the T20 Mumbai Women's League (TMWL) and aim to represent the country.

SoBo Mumbai Falcons, Thane Sky Risers and Aakash Tigers will be playing for the first TMWL trophy to be played at the iconic Wankhede Stadium starting on June 1.

"MCA has created a strong platform for women cricketers, and now it is time to make the most of these opportunities. Play with pride for Mumbai, strive to win trophies, and work towards representing India at the highest level," Naik told mid-day on Friday.
