Alexander Isak scored his third league goal of an injury-ridden campaign, while departing left-back Andy Robertson, and Florian Wirtz were was also on target to help Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 3-1 in an English Premier League encounter here on Saturday.
The result took Arne Slot's inconsistent side to fourth place (58 points in 34 games), pipping Aston Villa on goal difference.
Isak opened the scoring (35th min) by intercepting Alexis MacAllister's shot, which was going wide, and re-directed it past Palace custodian Dean Henderson. Robertson doubled the Reds's lead five minutes later after he was played in behind by Curtis Jones following a Liverpool breakaway. Wirtz then added further gloss to the scoreline in the sixth minute of injury time.
Daniel Munoz scored Palace's lone goal (72nd min).
