Mumbai Customs and Shlok Hockey Club win the Masters Hockey Carnival

Mumbai Customs and Shlok Hockey Club emerged the men's and women's champions respectively in the third edition of the Masters Hockey Carnival veterans rink hockey tournament at Panchgani recently.

The three-day competition, organised in association with Sanjeewan Vidyalaya and Hockey Maharashtra, and sponsored by Vencobb and NECC, witnessed over 40 teams participating from across the country.

In the men's summit clash, Mumbai Customs beat Wanderers Sports Club 2-1. Solomon Alexander scored both goals for Customs while Sunil Singh scored for Wanderers.

In the women's final Shlok HC beat Warriors 5-0. Amandeep and Sarita Lakra netted a brace each while Mena added the fifth goal for Shlok HC.
