SAI girls clinch elite women’s title at WCG rink hockey

Sports Authority of India lifted the women’s title at the 45th Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana rink hockey tournament with a 2-1 win over Central Railway. Mumbai Port Authority won the veterans crown, while Antonio D’Silva triumphed in the U-16 final

Sports Authority of India (SAI) clinched the elite women's title at the 45th Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana rink hockey tournament, beating Central Railway 2-1 in the summit clash. Dechamma PG and Kavita scored for SAI while Lahlunmawi scored for CR.

Veterans winners Mumbai Port Authority

Meanwhile, Mumbai Port Authority beat Mumbai Raj1 10-9 via tie-breaker to win the veterans title.

In the boys U-16 final, Antonio D'Silva beat Republicans 2-1. Foaad Shaikh scored both goals for the winners while Deepak Yadav scored for Republicans.
