Apple has launched a limited-edition version of its AirPods with a wireless charging case exclusively in India. Amid the ongoing festive season, Apple is offering its Indian customers a special edition of its wireless earbuds through the company's online store.
The Special Edition AirPods 5 also feature a specially crafted festive design on the charging case, giving the earbuds a distinct look to mark the festive season. The exclusive design adds a festive touch to Apple's wireless audio offering in India. The special edition is part of a festive campaign inspired by the traditional Indian art of rangoli.
The festive offer runs from 11 October to 11 November.
The AirPods 5 feature an open-ear design intended to provide all-day comfort. The earbuds also include a force sensor with a swipe-based volume control, allowing users to adjust audio levels directly.
Apple says the Wireless Charging Case provides up to 22 hours of battery life with Active Noise Cancellation enabled. The case can be charged using an Apple Watch charger or a Qi-certified wireless charger.
The earbuds also support Apple's Find My feature, which helps users locate their AirPods. The wireless charging case has a built-in speaker that plays a sound to help users find it.
One of the key features of the Special Edition AirPods 5 is its Live Translation feature, powered by Apple Intelligence. The smart feature is designed to help users communicate across languages.
Supported languages include Mandarin Chinese in Simplified and Traditional Chinese, English in the UK and US variants, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish.
The earbuds also offer hands-free access to Apple's Siri AI, allowing users to interact with a more personalised assistant on their iPhone.
The Special Edition AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case are available on Apple's official India online store. As far as the prices are concerned, the festive edition Apple AirPods 5 are available in India at Rs 17,900.
Customers can also explore the latest iPhone lineup, including iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and enjoy festive shopping offers on selected Apple products. These include up to 12 months of no-cost EMI on selected iPhone models, plus Mac and iPad. Customers can also get up to Rs 15,000 instant cashback with eligible cards on selected products. The six-month no-cost EMI offer continues on Apple Watch, AirPods and accessories.
