Kedarnath's director Abhishek Kapoor says that the film's second schedule is underway.

Director Abhishek Kapoor took to his social media to announce the second schedule of his next film Kedarnath, which is embroiled in a legal tiff between Abhishek Kapoor and the film's production house, KriArj Entertainment. Amidst the entire legal tangle, director Abhishek has taken to his social media account to tell the audience about Kedarnath's second schedule starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan.

Abhishek took to his Instagram and posted a video from the sets of the second schedule of Kedarnath. He wrote, " The journey continues.. schedule 2 underway #kedarnath#jaibholenath  @sushantsinghrajput#saraalikhan (sic)."

The lead actor of the film Sushant Singh Rajput commented on the image, " Jai Shiv Shambho (sic)."

Earlier, news about KirArj productions' fallout with Abhishek was doing rounds for quite some time now. In several industry circles, it was rumoured that KriArj's Prernaa Arora was not getting along with Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor and their disagreements reached a level, where neither could be in the same room as the other.

According to a report in DNA KriArj had collaborated on Abhishek's ambitious project, the latter is not a part of the film anymore. One hears that reportedly, due to defaulting of payments and lack of transparency, Abhishek has decided to close the fairly new association.

The film’s first schedule has been completed and Abhishek had announced that Kedarnath will hit the screens on December 21, the same day as Shah Rukh Khan's Zero. But KriArj didn't want to clash with the superstar, and that led to disagreements between the two. An inside said under condition of anonymity that the Fitoor director actually got abusive with Prernaa over the phone. And it seems that she then felt the need to end the association. He also had an open fight with her when he tweeted, "To all my friends in the media, #kedarnath is on schedule for 21 st dec 2018 #jaibholenath (sic), "when she suggested that Kedarnath should not clash with Shah Rukh's Zero.

Later, KriArj released an official statement saying that they will take the legal route in dealing with Abhishek Kapoor. This is the statement that was released.

"Guy In The Sky Pictures is trying to wriggle out of a binding agreement. KriArj Entertainment and T-Series continue to own the film as it’s co-producers along with Balaji and also own it's exclusive distribution rights. We are seeking legal recourse against Abhishek Kapoor and his production company for the various defaults committed by them of their commitments to both KriArj & T-Series. This includes attempts made by Guy in The Sky Pictures and Abhishek Kapoor to cheat KriArj Entertainment & T-Series after making them heavily invest in the Film. We no longer wish to make any further comments, the court proceedings will put all speculation to rest."
