Anil Kapoor on working with Madhuri Dixit: People have always loved our pairing
Anil Kapoor hopes to recreate the same magic as he reunites with Madhuri Dixit Nene after 17 years for Total Dhamaal
As the '90s hit jodi Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene gear up to collaborate again, 17 years after they worked together in Lajja, Kapoor says he's hoping they can recreate the magic that they did in the past for Total Dhamaal. He tells mid-day, "I am really excited to work with Madhuri. We have worked on some amazing ventures in the past. It is always fun to associate with a co-star who understands you. Be it in Tezaab (1988), Ram Lakhan (1989), Beta (1992) or Pukar (2000), people have always loved and appreciated our pairing. We hope to entertain the audience again and create the same magic."
Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal marks the duo's debut in the Dhamaal franchise. Ajay Devgn also joins the team for the first time with this third installment, which has previously featured Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi. Kapoor is currently working on Fanney Khan — which also sees him reunite with another former co-actor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He also has Remo D'Souza's Race 3 in the pipeline. "Work on the film with Madhuri will kick-off after that. It is going to be an out-and-out entertainer."
