Celebrities getting trolled on social media is not a new sight. The 'intolerant' social media immediately jumps up with their moral policing, and celebrities are often their soft-targets. This time, it's 'Padmavati' actress Deepika Padukone on the receiving end of these harsh comments. The actress posted a picture with her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor's cousins Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain on Instagram, for which, she received many insane comments.

On Sunday, the dimpled beauty, Deepika threw a grand bash for the Bollywood insiders to celebrate the success of 'Padmavati' trailer. The who's who of Bollywood from Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh amongst others were there in attendance at her Worli residence. Ranbir's cousins Armaan and Aadar, too, were present there. Deepika struck a pose with both of them and uploaded it on Instagram, for which she received those nasty comments, with one of the pictures being, Aadar Jain throwing a peck on Deepika's cheek. Dressed in a maroon silk sleeveless maxi dress, she looked gorgeous in the picture. However, the comments suggested that she looked too 'drunk' because of her droopy-eyes.

She was recently tolled for wearing a blingy green pantsuit at the closing ceremony of MAMI Film Festival 2017. The actress was called a 'joker' and comments like 'Looks like Deepika gift wrapped herself too along with the Diwali gifts' were made. Prior to this, the 'Piku' actress had posted an image from one of the magazine's photoshoots, where she was called terms such as 'dead body' for looking 'anorexic' in that particular photo.

Padukone was also referred to as 'Bollywood blunder' by fashion police at the Europe Music Awards last year. Deepika Padukone made her maiden international red carpet appearance at the Europe Music Awards 2016 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. It was a big moment for Dippy as she was gearing up for her Hollywood debut 'xXx: Return Of Xander Cage' then. For the ceremony, Deepika had opted for a swamp green skirt and bralette ensemble by Mumbai designer Monisha Jaising. She had accentuated the look with a gigantic belt and black stilettos. What caught the eye were the oversized green danglers on her ears. But the star's sartorial choice did not go down too well with the British fashion police who called her a 'Bollywood blunder'. Buzz had it that Deepika was miffed with her stylist then. She had apparently given her team a dressing down, asking only for outfits that 'slay'.
