After a low-key wedding of the Sasural Simar Ka couple – Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim at the latter's hometown, Bhopal - the newly married hosted a grand reception for their well-wishers and industry fans in Mumbai's Hotel Sea Princess on February 26, 2018. The couple was seen enjoying their wedding reception whole-heartedly while they put on their dancing shoes for performing 'bhangra'. Later, Shoaib took the drum and Dipika danced to its beats. 'Shoaika' - as they are popularly referred, seemed very overwhelmed.

Decked up in an off-white flowy princess gown with golden embroidery all over, Dipika Kakar looked enchanting and complimented Shoaib Ibrahim, who wore a traditional maroon colour and off-white combination sherwani. Apart from the bride and groom's family, present at the wedding reception from the Television industry were the recently married couple – Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal, Ratan Rajput, Sharad Kelkar and Kreeti Kelkar, Monica Gill, Shafaq Naaz and many others were also in attendance.

The couple's fan clubs have posted videos and pictures of Dipika and Shoaib cutting their deliciously yummy-looking wedding cake, feeding each other dinner and dancing together, every possible aspect that made them look as one of the cutest couples in the tinsel town.
Shoaib and Dipika had tied the knot on February 22, 2018. Dipika and Shoaib have appeared in a dance reality show together. This is Dipika's second marriage. Earlier, she was married to her long-term boyfriend Raunaq Samson, which went kaput.
