Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan starring Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, will clash at the box office with Shahid Kapoor's Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Yesterday, the makers of Abhishek Bachchan's next, Manmarziyaan announced that the romantic drama will release on September 21. Anurag Kashyap's film, which also stars Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu, was initially slated for September 7. Producer Anand L Rai annonced the news on social media.
Sharing the poster of the film on twitter, he captioned: "I don’t want to die without a few scars’! This is how I define Anurag Kashyap and his brilliant actors on the journey of Manmarziyaan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu! On September 21, meet the guts."

The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, who too shared the same poster. This is the first time Abhishek is collaborating with Taapsee and Vicky for a project.
In an earlier interview to IANS, Taapsee had said Manmarziyaan is a beautiful mix of the different worlds of filmmakers Aanand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap.
It will take on Shahid Kapoor-starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which also hits the marquee on September 21. The announcement comes a day after Shahida's film's release date was changed for the third time. Will they postpone the film again?
