Comedian Kapil Sharma's friend has quashed rumours that Kapil and his long-time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath have split and called off their wedding
Rumour mills have been abuzz that comedian-actor Kapil Sharma and girlfriend Ginni Chatrath have parted ways. However, a report in Hindustan Times states that Kapil Sharma's close aide, Dinesh Kumar has quashed these rumours clarifying, "Aisa kuch nahi hai (Nothing of this sort has happened). Kapil and Ginni Chatrath are very much together and in a steady relationship. I have known Kapil since our college days and if something like this happened in his personal life, he's my brother and he surely would have confided in me or informed me. It's just that around his film, people are spreading false news and rumours about him. It's nothing like what has been reported."

Dinesh Kumar was one of the crucial band members on 'The Kapil Sharma Show,' and is reported to be seen on the sets of Kapil's upcoming film 'Firangi,' which is slated for a November 10, 2017, release. It was in March 2017, that Kapil Sharma announced his relationship with Ginni. He wrote on Twitter, "Will not say she is my better half .. she completes me .. love u ginni .. please welcome her .. However, this announcement was followed by the reports of the infamous Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover spat, post which, the former's professional life just went unstable and he had to try really hard to sustain his show's status. Whereas, there are few who say that introducing Ginny was a publicity stunt, to divert the audience's attention from Kapi-Sunil's feud to his relationship with Ginni. An insider further informed the publication saying that it could be a publicity stunt for his upcoming 'Firangi.' The source said, "This PR activity is being done to show that he has regained his single status. Whatever is being reported about his past or present relationship status is a make-believe PR strategy."
On the other hand, a female team member from Kapil's show is accused of blaming for the comedian's life going haywire. In a DNA report, a source was quoted, "This team member has been working against Kapil's interests all the time. But he refuses to hear a word against her… When rumours linking Kapil to this team member — spread by the team member herself - gathered momentum, Kapil thwarted those rumours by announcing his marriage plans with Ginny.
