Mallika Sherawat may have drifted away from desi commitments over the last few years - her last Bollywood film, 'Dirty Politics', had a delayed release in 2015 - but the bombshell is set for a comeback. After almost four years, the actress has given her nod to an upcoming Hindi film titled 'Zeenat'.

Speaking to hitlist, Mallika informs it is a role she has never attempted earlier. "I feel the film's subject is almost in the space of work that I have been associated with for a while now. It's fortunate that this is an absolutely commercial Hindi film, which helps convey a message to a larger section of society. I am thrilled and looking forward to this role and the film."
Directed by Saandesh Nayak, the film is a social drama, which revolves around relationships.
"Mallika has already started attending workshops and is involved in the pre-production work," Nayak says.
