The next schedule of the upcoming Mary Kom biopic starring Priyanka Chopra will be shot in Darjeeling. The makers will pass off the West Bengal hillstation as Manipur where a special set will be recreated.u00a0
A crew member says, “We are going to shoot for a week in Manipur and then the unit shifts to Darjeeling. We chose to recreate Manipur elsewhere as we wanted a picturesque backdrop which the region does not have.’

Director Omung Kumar says, “Earlier we shot in Manali, but the next schedule is in February-March. It would be snowing there. Therefore, we are planning to shift it to a village near Darjeeling.” u00a0
