A fire broke out at Bapti Road in Grant Road area around 12 pm today, which caused the death of one.
The fire broke out in the ground floor of a godown named Abdullah. It spread to the garages and shops on the floor.
Three people were present in the garage at the time but only two managed to escape. The third one died.
Ten fire engines and tankers were sent to the spot, and firefighting operations are underway as per latest reports
