New Delhi: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Tuesday defended the Maharashtra Government's decision to ban the sale and consumption of meat in Mumbai for four days, saying norms of all religions should be respected.

'It is the belief of the Jains that there should not be any kind of killing. They have shown respect to their religion,' Anwar told ANI.
