Raai Laxmi: If somebody wants to see only sex scenes, they'd rather watch adult films

With South actress Rai Laxmi's first full-fledged Bollywood film 'Julie 2' gearing up for release, she's become the hot sensation on the block, courtesy, her alleged past relationship with renowned cricketer MS Dhoni, and her sensuous scenes in the film.
Since the film is distributed by former Central Bureau of Film Certification (CBFC) Chief Pahlaj Nihalani, the film grabbed more headlines as the former Chief was known for trimming kissing scenes and every second film fell into a controversy as it had to face the wrath of CBFC's scissors. However, Nihalani made his stance clear that he was just following the CBFC guidelines.
When Spotboye asked Nihalani's film's actress Raai Laxmi about it, she said, "If it is a kissing scene and you only show a peck, then the whole meaning and feeling will not translate onscreen. When the public finally sees that scene, they will feel cheated."
Further stating her opinion about cutting the length of lovemaking scenes, Raai told Spotboye, "I don't think anybody wants to waste footage. If you drag a kissing scene and keep rolling, eventually the people watching it will get bored. No one will do that deliberately. But if there is a long scene and that is what the filmmaker wants, you are only ruining his vision. Nobody watches films to see such stuff per se, they would then rather watch an adult film."
Talking about her rumoured affair to the above said entertainment portal with celebrity cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Raai counter-questioned saying, "Who's he?" Raai Laxmi was seen in a cameo in Sonakshi Sinha’s 'Akira'. 'Julie 2' hits the screens on October 6.
