Kamal Haasan backs NEET aspirants after exam gets cancelled: 'Dreams of students shattered by criminal conspiracies'

After NEET-UG 2026 was cancelled amid alleged paper leak and malpractice concerns, Kamal Haasan came out in support of the 22 lakh affected students. Calling it a “criminal conspiracy,” the actor asked who would take responsibility for the mental trauma caused to aspirants

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday cancelled the NEET-UG 2026 conducted on May 3 and announced that the exam will be re-conducted on dates to be notified separately.

The agency issued an official statement on X, stating that the decision was taken after examining inputs received from Central agencies and law enforcement authorities regarding alleged irregularities in the examination process. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has now been tasked with probing the matter.
