Content creator Ranveer Allahbadia has made headlines this year due to his controversial remarks during his appearance on Samay Raina’s show India's Got Latent. The controversy led to multiple FIRs filed against him and court appearances. While he's now back to podcasting as before, the creator recently addressed his relationship status.
Ranveer Allahbadia opens up on love life
There were rumours that he had broken up with Nikki Sharma, whom he was speculated to be dating. These rumours surfaced around the time of the Latent controversy and ongoing legal cases. While chatting with guest Tara Sutaria on the latest episode of his podcast, Ranveer revealed that he’s not chasing love anytime soon.
He said, “I think I chased love too hard… I think if one has a burning desire to find deep romance in life, they’re meant to find it. That burning desire is still there in me now, but it burnt me so much on the inside… I just wanted a wife so bad. But something switches after you’re 30. But it’s not in my hands. My chart says it has to be a delayed marriage, because there’s work to be done. And that’s probably my only way of self-actualising this issue. As a guy, I’ve just buried that want… There’s so much pain I’ve buried so deep, and a lot of it is from broken romance. I don’t have any expectations from a partner to come and heal my pain, because that’s unfair… The women in my life my mom, my sister, my niece, my girl who is yet to come—I want them to have a soft experience of life.”
While Ranveer has never revealed the identity of his girlfriend. He used to use a sunflower emoji in his posts, where she can also be seen posing with him. However, internet sleuths had figured out the identity of his former ladylove. Turns out it was actress Nikki Sharma who was last seen alongside Arjun Bijlani in Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyayay Shivshakti.
Ranveer on finding true nature of people around him
In a previous episode of his podcast, Ranveer had opened up about realising that not everyone around him during the controversy was genuine.
“Haan, un rishte-daars ka character dikh gaya, jo log fake friends the, unka character dikh gaya. Par iske saath-saath, bahut logon ke acche characters bhi dikh jaate hain. Jo actual kareebi dost hain, woh saare mere liye the. They were all present. Bahut saare mentors aaye. Kuch log aise hain jinse main kabhi zindagi mein mila bhi nahi hoon, baat bhi nahi hui hai—un logon ne saamne se call karke madad kari.” (“The true friends were all there for me.
