Will people be able to relate to the film?
Absolutely. It is a story about real people in real situations asking real questions. It is this reality that makes the film humorous, tragic, fun, and everything else that real life is all about. Most importantly, the story is narrated in a very entertaining, light-hearted way. People will relate to the film, they'll connect with the characters and be entertained.
What's your equation with Vijay Raaz?
Vijay is a fantastic actor. The first time I saw him was on stage. This skinny guy walked on with this crab-like gait and I was dumbstruck. I am very fond of Vijay, but it's not like we meet regularly on a personal level. Maybe we should start. I'm eagerly waiting for the day he decides to come back to theatre. It is always a pleasure to work with such a talented actor. It makes my job easier.

What's your character in the film?
I play a chowkidar who is a simple man with simple wants. He's lived life on the straight path, but circumstances change him and make him greedy and ambitious. He represents the struggling Mumbaikar who accidentally stumbles into a crime.
Will people be able to relate to the film?
Barah Aana is about the common man. It's bound to strike a chord with the viewers, as we're all ordinary people from the prime minister of the country to a top-notch businessman. At heart we're all very vulnerable and simple.
