I made the film because I lamented that post 9/11, there has been a real lack of conversation between America and the rest of the world. It is my attempt to create a bridge and dialogue between the two sides,&quot; Mira told PTI here. The film stars British-Pakistani actor Riz Ahmed as Changez. Hollywood stars like Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber and Kiefer Sutherland play key roles in the movie besides Indian actors -- Shabana Azmi and Om Puri. Mira, 55, is happy to have brought together talent from different parts of the world to tell the story of her movie. &quot;I think a film like this has not been made before therefore not seen before. Also, there is no other film that has a brown person in the lead and supported by A-listers from both Bollywood and Hollywood. I have also introduced a lot of talent from Pakistan,&quot; the director said. &#39;The Reluctant Fundamentalist&#39;, based on Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid&#39;s book of the same name, is being released in India by PVR on May 17. It will also hit the screens in Pakistan on the same day.u00a0
