The 49-year-old actor tweeted his impressions about the beauty of Kashmir and hoped that more Bollywood film makers will choose the valley for their movies.

Salman was in the Valley for over a month for the shooting of the Kabir Khan film.

About 30 per cent of the movie was shot in Kashmir, which once used to be the preferred choice of all film makers but was abandoned since military erupted in 1989.

"Salman left Kashmir today after completing his shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan," line producer of the film, Khawar Jamsheed told PTI.

Jamsheed said the actor left for his home in Mumbai along with actress Kareena Kapoor.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was shot at various picturesque locations including the famous resorts of Pahalgam and Sonamarg. A qawali song of the movie was shot at a famous shrine in Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district.

The line producer said the film's shooting was wrapped up today and the unit will leave the valley tomorrow.

"We are happy that the shooting went off well and I am sure other filmmakers will come to Kashmir for their films," he said.

Jamsheed said Salman left the Valley with a heavy heart as he was in no mood to leave the place. "He was so relaxed, happy and enjoyed his stay. He was in no mood to leave," Jamsheed said, adding Salman promised to be back soon.

"He is in love with the Valley and it is 100 per cent in his heart that he wants to be here again very soon," he said.

Earlier, Salman kept his 11.9 million fans on Twitter updated with little glimpses into his schedule in the city.

"Flood Kashmir with only tourism tourism tourism," Salman tweeted with a photo of snow-clad mountains.

"KASHMIR bahut AMEER (rich) in natural beauty... Maashallah Maashallah," the actor wrote.
