Border 2&rsquo;s success ensured that Ahan Shetty had a great start to 2026. Now, the actor is carefully choosing his next projects. While director <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/sajid-nadiadwala-grants-sanki-title-to-ahan-shetty-for-his-next-with-tinu-desai-23626533" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Tinu Desai&rsquo;s Sanki </a>will be his next, it looks like Shetty is adding a horror outing to his kitty. We&rsquo;ve learnt that the actor has given his nod to Vikram Bhatt&rsquo;s 1920: Cold Winter, the sixth instalment in the 1920 franchise.&nbsp;

Sources have told us that the film is currently at the scripting stage. &ldquo;This will be Ahan&rsquo;s first brush with the supernatural genre. He wants to do a variety of roles, after being launched in the romantic action drama <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/ahan-shetty-reveals-he-was-barred-from-signing-movies-after-tadap-23614469" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Tadap</a> [2021]. That&rsquo;s why he is carefully choosing movies that belong to different genres,&rdquo; said a source.

Bhatt and producer Anand Pandit are hunting for the female lead. If things go as planned, the director will call action on the project by November. The source added, &ldquo;They are looking for a reasonably known actor, not a fresh face. Soon, the producer-director duo will head to Scotland for a recce. Some portions of the film will also be shot in Shimla.&rdquo;
