Amy Jackson is no stranger to the ramp &mdash; the 24-year-old started out as a model before stepping into Bollywood. But, the British-born actress is especially excited about her next catwalk call; it&rsquo;s from the prestigious London Fashion Week, after all.
Amy will turn showstopper for Welsh designer Jayne Pierson, who has earlier worked with Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. Pierson dresses celebrities like Amber Rose, Gemma Arterton and La Roux among others and will showcase her latest collection at the fashion extravaganza where the Freaky Ali actress will sashay down the runway.
Says Amy, &ldquo;I have known Jayne for a while and love her work. It&rsquo;s a huge honour for me to turn showstopper for her show at the London Fashion Week. I didn&rsquo;t think twice before saying yes when she asked. Jayne isn&rsquo;t just a designer but an artist too, and every piece she creates is spectacular.&rdquo;
At the age of 16, Amy had won the 2009 Miss Teen World competition and the 2010 Miss Liverpool title.
