Arjun Rampal has candidly reflected on one of the most difficult periods of his life. He recalled feeling lonely while dealing with his separation from Mehr Jesia and his mother's illness and eventual death. He also revealed how partner Gabriella Demetriades became a source of strength during those challenging years.

While speaking to Cancelled to Crown, Arjun Rampal reflected on the “loneliest and darkest phase" of his life. He said, “I think the loneliest I have ever felt is when I was not connected with myself the way I am today. My marriage was not working out, and it’s sad because I think love is not constant.”
