Sonakshi Sinha had a completely different take on the concept as she quoted from India's pledge. "All indians are brothers and sisters?!?! in that case, a very, very happy rakhi!," she tweeted. The Dabangg actress and Minissha Lamba were the ones who got several replies to their tweets from male followers, who insisted they didn't want to be their brothers. Photographer Atul Kasbekar pointed out, "Btw I have 3 sisters... Clearly a result of my parents having no cable TV...;o). Truly enjoyed d large family... Happy Raksha Bandhan"
Shabana Azmi was more serious, when she tweeted, "Hve kept Roza and am celebrating Raksha Bandhan. India is a pluralistic society and our syncretic culture is our greatest strength."
