He has a great sense of humour and his timing is perfect. He is extremely comfortable to work with as he comes with no baggage and has zero attitude. He is very serious about his work and we have a good time doing our homework together. But it also stems from the fact that the show itself is very engaging -- there's money, glamour, masti -- it's a paisa vasool show.u00a0 Work matters Times are changing and so is the television industry. All of a sudden there are new faces in the industry. We aren't seeing the senior actors, so there's definitely something wrong. And for that reason, I'm thankful to God that I'm working. To me the genre doesn't matter, what is important is that I entertain my audiences -- whether I'm crying, cracking a joke or delivering a serious dialogue -- they have to enjoy it. This is the reason why I never say no when David Dhawan offers me any role. Comedy is a writer's medium. An actor can never rise above the script; he or she can just add mirch-masala to it. Power acts I'm a black-and-white film fan. Dilip Kumar is my idol, not only for his acting, but also for his principles and the way he stands, talks and looks. Other actors whose work I admire are Johnny Walker, Radheysham and Mehmood. They had such power that when they laughed, the audience laughed and when they cried, the audience shed tears. The same happened with me unknowingly. When I was offered Kamal Agarwal's role in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, I never thought that he'll become such a household name. Lines I love... &gt;&gt;u00a0Bhagwan ke liye mujhe chod do &gt;&gt;u00a0Ae bhai -- from Dilip Saab's films &gt;&gt;u00a0Jo mohabbat darti hai, wo mohabbat nahi, gunah hai, aiyashi hai -- from Mughal-e-azam &gt;&gt;u00a0Tumhara naam kya hai Basanti -- from Sholay &gt;&gt;u00a0Mera naam hai Khoka, aaj mila hai mujhe moka These were the real one-liners, which get written and delivered once in a blue moon.
