B-Town biwis gathered at Akshay Kumar's sister's salon for a pre-karva chauth bash

B-Town folks take their festivals seriously. Yesterday Akshay Kumar's sister Alka hosted a pre-karva chauth bash at her salon in Andheri. And Bollywood wives showed up to get mehndi applied on their hands along with a few spa treatments.

Although every year B-Town biwis gather together and carry out the rituals, this is the first time someone hosted a pre-karva chauth party at a salon.

Keeps 'em happy

Twinkle has been observing the one-day fast ever since she married Akshay. The Khiladi loving husband that he is also fasts the whole day to keep his wife company.

Twinkle said, "I really don't believe in religious things but karva chauth is a sweet ritual and I follow it because it makes my family happy."
