He goes on to add, "Chaalis Chaurasi fetched decent reviews, but that hasn't helped in getting people to the theatres." Aditya Choksi attributes Ghost's box office numbers to the horror genre having a bigger market than a non-star film. "That's a proven fact, time and again. The horror movies by the Ramsays never had any main hero. Their films catered to the frontbenchers. So considering its low cost, Ghost has done well in Central India," he sums up. Meanwhile, Players continues its downslide. Komal Nahta, editor of koimoi.com points out, "Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the producers of Players, will lose a part of their heavy investment."
