Govinda has never hesitated from acknowledging Salman Khan&rsquo;s support; he has always been vocal about being there for the latter, who stood by him after his stint in politics. And so it comes as a surprise that Chi Chi has in fact, turned down Salman&rsquo;s latest offer.

The Dabangg actor had offered Govinda the lead role in a Being Human production that is believed to be the Hindi remake of Mahesh Manjrekar&rsquo;s Marathi film Sikhshanacha Aaicha Gho.
Given that the two actors share a good equation, Salman asked Mahesh Manjrekar to approach Govinda for Sachin Khedekar&rsquo;s role in the film. After the first narration though, Govinda wanted the script to accommodate some changes.
&ldquo;There were certain things in the script that I didn&rsquo;t agree with and I made it clear to Mahesh that I wanted them changed. But I think he wasn&rsquo;t ready to do it. So it made sense for me to opt out of the project,&rdquo; said Govinda to MiD DAY.
The producers of the Hindi remake, meanwhile, are still looking for Govinda&rsquo;s replacement; it is likely that Salman Khan will put in a guest appearance to boost the film&rsquo;s box office opening.
