All he wanted to do was rap. &gt;&gt;u00a0After procuring a copy of the Beastie Boys album Licensed to Ill as a teenager, Eminem became further interested in rap, performing amateur raps at age 14 under the pseudonym M&amp;M. &gt;&gt;u00a0His father abandoned the family when he was 18 months old, and he was raised solely by his mother. &gt;&gt; Eminem married Kimberley Anne Scott, whom he met in high school, twice. They began their on-and-off relationship in 1989, getting married by 1999. The couple first divorced in 2001 but remarried in January 2006.
