Lyricist Turaz, who has composed the soulful lyrics of the song talks to mid-day about his experience in composing the song. Turaz says that this particular song has been used a crucial junction in the film, which takes the story forward. "I am happy that Sanjay Leela Bhansali allowed to use poetry in songs. His films personify love and he gives full freedom to writers to express their creativity. I have also written the other song 'Ghoomar' and it was a challenge for me to write that song as well. It was out of my comfort zone, but I still infused the song with poetry.
