A French website reported that the couple owed 80,000 euros in rent. The landlord allegedly had ordered the seizure of items in the house. Later, Mallika took to Twitter to pooh-pooh the reports.

The actor's social media account is replete with snapshots of living the high life, that's when she is not holidaying in an exotic destination. Cyrille is said to be a real estate business tycoon in Paris. The plot thickens.
