Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty will put on his dancing shoes once again for the upcoming crossover movie Spaghetti 24X7. This time, the actor, who balances arthouse and commercial cinema with equal elan, will have his son Mimoh for company in the film. This is the first time Mimoh and Mithun will appear together in the same film.

Mithun had first revealed his dancing prowess in Dance Dance, but it was the hit Disco Dancer, which firmly established him as one of the best dancers of commercial Hindi cinema. Mithun said he just can't wait to see the reaction among today's new crop of dancers to his dancing skill. "Spaghetti 24X7 will have flashes of me dancing to the tunes set by one of a new generation of musicians and I am keen to see the reaction among today's dancers," the undisputable disco king of the '80s said.

The actor is willing to see someone match his steps and pelvic thrusts and gave hints that his son would fit the bill. "My son has proved to be a skilled dancer and I am happy with his performance both as a dancer and as an actor," Mithun said about Mimoh's role as a bartender in Spaghetti 24X7. Spaghetti 24X7 has his second son Rimoh as the assistant director. It is directed by Gaurav Pandey whose Bengali film Shukno Lanka, also starring Mithun, has just been released to critical acclaim.

Asked about him and Mimoh acting together again, the 60-year-old young man said, "Yes, I am very much open to the idea. If there is a good script, why not? But the roles should click," he said, adding he was also open to the idea of acting in a film directed by his younger son Rimoh in the future.
