It is a cringe-worthy film which hopes to keep the audience interested with it's crude language and toilet humour, but fails

Yeh fugly fugly kya hai… goes one of the songs in this film. Well, whatever Fugly meant earlier, now it has a new definition. It is a cringe-worthy film where the scriptwriter and the director seem obsessed with the tits and asses of random people. At one point, I was convinced that the mission of this enthusiastic duo was to find ways and means to get almost every dialogue, every scene start or end with 'pichwada'.

Well, we have toilet-rated…oops, tolerated, this kind of humour in various forms (the most traumatic remains Rishi Kapoor sitting on a pot in Besharam), but calling a character haggu, without even bothering to mince words, is touching the lowest of lows. And it serves you a warning of what to expect from the movie.
Based in Delhi, this film is about four childhood friends: Dev (Mohit Marwah), Gaurav (Vijender Singh), Aditya (Arfi Lamba) and Devi (Kiara Advani). Devi has an ugly run-in with a lecherous shopkeeper and the friends vow to avenge her humiliation. They get carried away a bit too far and are caught in the clutches of a cop Chautala (Jimmy Shergill), who decides to trap them in a dangerous situation for his own benefit. Chautala is vicious, greedy and loves referring to himself in the third person. The friends get deeper and deeper into trouble, till Dev decides to take a drastic step.
The basic plot is promising but then it is filled with so many loopholes that one wishes that the writers had concentrated on filling them instead of trying to cram in as many crude “Haryanvi” type of jokes into the script as possible. How can anyone convince us that an ordinary cop will get away with blackmailing a Haryanvi politician's son and his friends in the city of 'Pata hai mera baap kaun hai' Dilli? Even though the first half holds your interest thanks to the easy camaraderie between the friends, the second half goes downhill and after a point, all you hear is one crude word after another, with the clueless script seeming to have totally lost its direction. In the meantime, weirder characters are introduced. My favourite WTF scene is when an old lady with a toyboy for a slave, asks one of the three boys to stay back to service her. The second best is when a TV journalist is allowed to interview a man in the ICU.
While Vijendra Singh's boxing glove wears more expressions than him, Mohit Marwah and Kiara Advani make a decent debut. In fact, Kiara definitely has the potential that can be honed into making her a good actress on a better platform.
