Actor Imran Khan has spoken about the distinction between criticising a political leader and criticising a country, stressing that questioning those in positions of authority should not be viewed as an attack on the nation. In a conversation with Yuvaa, the actor reacted to the question on hatred and politics that often leads to violence when called out. 

“Important to note here that a critique of a political official is not a critique of a country. In case it needs to be said, no politician is the country,” Khan said. He had earlier voiced his opinion during student protest too.
