Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's much-awaited spy thriller Alpha has finally arrived in theatres, drawing mixed reactions from audiences. Despite the divided response, focus has now shifted to the film's OTT release.

YRF had earlier denied Netflix

Earlier, Variety reported that Alpha was heading directly to Netflix had surfaced months before its theatrical release. Reports claimed that streaming giant Netflix had offered Yash Raj Films (YRF) a massive Rs 215 crore deal for a direct digital premiere, bypassing cinemas altogether. However, the production house reportedly declined the offer, reiterating its commitment to a theatrical-first strategy for its biggest releases.
