The duo had earlier acted together in the 2004 film Asambhav. Since then, the Kaminey actress has been in awe of the veteran actor. So Priyanka was apprehensive of doing the love scenes with Naseer, who plays the oldest of her seven husbands. Worse, Naseer fell ill after just one day's shooting in Coorg. But when he returned to the sets, Naseer was full of energy and in high spirits. He immediately put Priyanka at ease and the two ended up giving one of their best performances to date.
