Ramayana's song launch event on Navratri postponed in Maharashtra amid drought

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash-starrer Ramayana Part 1 is gearing up for its release in the grandest way possible. With the theatrical release of Diwali 2026 less than a month away, the makers, along with the cast, have already begun promoting the magnum opus helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. A song from the film was expected to be launched on October 11, 2026, marking the first day of Navratri, at a grand event in Ramtek, Maharashtra. However, the event has now been postponed.
Ramayana's Navratri song launch event cancelled
MLA Ashish Jaiswal confirmed that the event has been postponed on Instagram. He shared a video revealing that the event has been postponed. In the caption, Jaiswal wrote, "We would like to inform all of you that the grand interaction program with the entire team of the film ‘Ramayana’, which was to be organised at Ramtek on 11th October 2026, has been postponed due to some unavoidable reasons. Actor Ranbir Kapoor, actress Sai Pallavi and the cast of the film were to participate in this program. The purpose of this program was to highlight the importance of the land of Ramtek, which was sanctified by the touch of the feet of Lord Shri Ramchandra (sic)."
