The mythological epic, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema and is planned as a two-part saga.
During a recent interaction at CinemaCon 2026, Yash, who plays Ravana in the film, confirmed that Ramayana: Part 1 is expected to release in the last week of October 2026. This update aligns closely with earlier reports suggesting a festive release around Diwali, a period often reserved for major Bollywood blockbusters.
