Yash says loud Shiva music helped him prepare for Ravana in Ramayana: 'I spoiled the whole atmosphere on set'

Yash revealed he blasted Shiva music on the Ramayana sets to get into Ravana's mindset, even if it changed the atmosphere on set. The actor also admitted that playing such an iconic character came with extra pressure due to audience expectations

The cast of Ramayana, including Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, recently travelled to San Diego Comic-Con to promote the film and interact with the media. During the conversation, Yash opened up about his preparation for playing Ravana and how it came with added pressure. The actor also revealed that he played loud Shiva music on set to stay immersed in the character's mindset.

On the Review Nation YouTube channel, the team of Ramayana spoke about the film. “I kind of spoiled the whole atmosphere on the set. I used to be very serious,” Yash said. Ranbir mentioned that while he had not yet shot scenes with Yash, everyone who had worked with the Kannada star told him that he would change the energy of the entire set with his music.
