A Mumbai sessions court has framed charges against Shariful Fakir, the accused in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, paving the way for the trial to begin. The development came on Friday, August 14, as the court formally charged Fakir in connection with the alleged attack on the actor at his Bandra residence in January 2025.
Saif Ali Khan's stabbing case accused charged
Fakir, identified as a Bangladeshi national, faces charges including dacoity, house trespass, illegally entering India and staying in the country under a fictitious identity. Following the framing of charges, Fakir told the court that he had not been provided with a copy of the chargesheet and other relevant documents. The court subsequently directed the prosecution to supply him with the required records.
