At an event recently, the ASSOCHAM Ladies League felicitated the top Women Achievers of the Decade at a glittering ceremony held in Mumbai.

The Mumbai Chapter of the event had Prithviraj Chavan, Chief Minister of Maharashtra along with Rana Kapoor, President, ASSOCHAM awarding the highly successful women, who have scaled great heights in their respective fieldsand brought immense glory and recognition to Mumbai and India.
The list of awardees included:- &gt;&gt; Supriya Sule for Excellence in Social Service &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Rajashree Birla for Excellence as an Exemplar for Women &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Chanda Kochhar for Excellence in Banking &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Anu Aga for Excellence in Corporate Responsibility and Community Service &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Brinda Somaya for Excellence in Architecture and Urban Conservation &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Surekha Sikri for Excellence in Acting &gt;&gt;&nbsp;BK Sister Shivani for Excellence in Empowering Spiritual Consciousness &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Indu Shahani for Excellence in Education and Community Development

Speaking on the occasion, Rana Kapoor, president, ASSOCHAM stated, &ldquo;Women leaders are playing an extremely critical role in spheres like politics, society, economy and corporate world, which are getting more globalised by the day.
