Spreading wings Hello Zindagi has created no magic at the box office, but its lead protagonist Mrunmayee Lagoo is being appreciated for her spontaneous performance. Veteran actress Reema Lagoo's daughter, Mrunmayee has experimented with Marathi theatre, got awards for her roles in Marathi films and has also assisted in 3 Idiots and the remake of Stepmom. I've had a sheltered life with wonderful schooling in Panchagani. My parents have made sure that I've lacked nothing and have given me the freedom to choose what I want to do. Filmy connect Acting was quite a challenge as I am equally interested in working behind the camera. I love filmmaking and any kind of cinema interests me. I want to be associated with the industry in any way I can u2014 as an actor, director or writer. I'm not many films old, but my strength as an actor is that I'm willing to listen to what the director has to say; I don't like over discussing things though. Mamma mia People invariably compare me to my mom, but it doesn't really bother me much. It would be depressing if no one expected anything from me. Many people say that my voice and my body language are just like mom's, but that's quite natural I think. My mom is not the kind of person to tell me how to act or how to deliver dialogues. But yes, she has taught me how to tackle situations and that patience is of prime importance in this profession. I've learnt that even if you've been shooting for 12 hours a day and you need to address an audience at 11pm, you have to look as energetic as you did in your first hour at work. But that's hard to do since I'm essentially very lazy. I'm also very short tempered and an introvert to a certain extent. I love to spend time with family, friends and good food. On an ideal day, you'll catch me reading or watching films.
