It's out. The big secret about Shahid Kapoor's next big film Badmaash Company is that the actor for the first time does a number of looks and makeovers, so much so that he is unrecognizable in the film.
Shaks plays a role inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio's role in Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can where he played a young con artiste who successfully impersonated several professional cashing fraudulent cheques along the way.
Modified look
Of course, Shahid's make-overs as the con-man have been modified to suit the Indian palate. He gets into as many as seven different disguises. These are a South Indian patriarch, a Bihari babu, a baldie with a hair-loss complex, an African with an Afro-curly hairdo, a Sikh (a patent Yashraj masquerade, this one), a sweet innocent college kid with oil-sickened hair and most interestingly, a Hyderabadi mawaali inspired by Mehmood's look in several films.
Shahid confirms he has undergone a number of makeover tests for Badmaash Company. "Yes, it's true I do a number of looks in the film. But I can't tell you what these looks are. I'll give away the suspense."
