Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull promo not ready in time to be seen this week with Sallu's flick

Salman Khan's best buddy Sajid Nadiadwala has given Khan's film Veer the slip. Salman had planned to attach Sajid Khan's Housefull trailer to Veer prints everywhere.

The two Sajids were frantically working towards releasing the promo on Friday, but hit an unforeseen snag.
"Sajid Khan and I just couldn't get it ready in time. It's not an easy thing to prepare one. You need to let the audience know what the film is about and yet not give away the plot," says Nadiadwala.

Apparently, one of the problems was Akshay Kumar's nerdy look and its relation to the plot. The producer and director couldn't position Akshay's look vis-u00e0-vis the trailer without giving the plot away.

Says Nadiadwala, "Since we've missed Veer, we won't attach the Housefull trailer to any film. Quite often when the trailer is attached to a film the projectionist snips the trailer off to save time. We'd rather distribute the trailer separately to theatres."
