Bollywood actor Sunny Deol made his first public appearance after the demise of his father Dharmendra for the teaser launch event of his film Border 2. For the war drama, Deol will be sharing screen with actors like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and Mona Singh. The actor took to the stage during the teaser launch, and was seen dressed in a white t-shirt, paired with cargo pants. He rounded up his look with a jacket.

Deol spoke to the media stationed at the venue, and was seen with moist eyes before he regained his composure and said a popular dialogue from the film. “Awaaz kahan tak jaani chaahiye? Lahore tak (Where shall the voice reach? It should reach Lahore)," he roared into the mic with tears in his eyes and strength in his voice.

Sunny on young generation's role in upholding nation's legacy
Speaking at the Border 2 teaser launch event, the Jaat actor praised Gen Z, highlighting their potential to uphold the nation’s legacy and protect the country just as previous generations have done. When asked about the personal meaning of patriotism, Sunny shared his heartfelt perspective, emphasizing the role of Gen Z in carrying forward the legacy of protecting and honoring the nation.
He stated, “The country is our mother, and today's youth also considers it their mother. And they will protect it, just like their fathers, great grandfathers did. I think even today's youth will do the same. We call it Gen Z, whatever you call it, but it is still a child.”
About Border 2
Talking about Border 2, the film is a sequel to Border, which was based on the Battle of Longewala during the India–Pakistan war of 1971.
‘Border 2’ aims to reinterpret that spirit for a new generation, both in scale and storytelling sensibility. Headlined once again by Sunny Deol, the sequel is expected to retain the old-school gravitas that made the first film unforgettable, while expanding its canvas through contemporary warfare themes, sharper character arcs, and updated technical execution.
