Directed by &ldquo;Band Baaja Baaraat&rdquo; fame director Maneesh Sharma and written by Jaideep, it also stars Rishi Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani. Vaani, who is making her debut with the film, said she had to struggle a lot to join the cast. &quot;I got the film after a lot of struggle. I had to really convince Maneesh that I was right choice for the role,&quot; she said. A big fan of romantic comedies, she added: &ldquo;The film has a new story. It is a very freshly packaged film and has a very different kind of romance. &ldquo;Shuddh Desi Romance&rdquo; is all set to release Sep 6.
